20. We believe that if our annual conference were held near Washington DC , more FDA reviewers and other health-related government employees would attend. That area of country is a more expensive than locations we’ve chosen in the past, so hotel nights and conference fees would likely be higher. Is the added expense to you and/or your company worth the potential benefit of presentations from and interactions with these government employees?

25. PharmaSUG Theatre (Inside the Exhibit Hall) – This year, we added a new activity, Survival Tips for Independent Consultants, in the Theatre. These are informal 10-15 min presentations on a variety of topics on the self-employed (SE), from what to plan for as a SE, how to incorporate, record keeping, the do’s and dont’s, home office, and tax tips for the SE, etc.
