Vikas Shokeen is a Senior Statistical Programmer at Cytel, leading Health Authority requests for the GSK HIV Vaccines portfolio. With expertise in SAS programming, regulatory submissions, and clinical trial analytics, he has played a key role in Health Authority Requests, Safety Updates, and Post-Marketing Commitments. Previously, Vikas worked at Novartis, gaining extensive experience in observational studies and early-phase clinical trials. He has a strong background in data visualization, survival analysis, and multivariable modeling. His contributions to clinical programming were recognized at PHUSE EU Connect 2023, where he won the Best Paper Award in the Real-World Evidence Stream. Vikas holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi. At PharmaSUG India SDE 2025, he will share insights on leveraging standards, technology, and Agile methodologies for efficient Health Authority responses.
