PharmaSUG Japan 2026 Conference
Welcome to PharmaSUG Japan 2026! We’re planning some exciting things for our in-person gathering in Tokyo.
- What to Expect Across two days, attendees will hear more than 30 oral presentations and poster sessions organized into four tracks: AI & Generative AI in Clinical Programming; Automation Tools, Platforms & Visualization; Open-Source Adoption & Organizational Transformation; and Data Standards, Statistical Methods & Regulatory Submissions. Sessions and delivered in both English and Japanese (MS Copilot translation will be available), reflecting the conference’s international community, and are complemented by an evening networking reception and a dedicated poster session.
- Keynote Speakers The conference opens with a keynote from Masanao Sasaki, a biostatistics reviewer at Japan’s Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), who will share the agency’s current perspective on the use of open-source software and AI in regulatory review, including its potential role in new drug applications. The conference closes with a keynote from Nobuyuki Tsuji of Engage Squared, focused on the practical adoption of AI technologies in industry.
